Duties and responsibilities:
Some responsibilities of the
dental assistant are to Prepares treatment room for
patient by following prescribed procedures and protocols. Prepares patient for
dental treatment by welcoming, comforting, seating, and draping patient.
Provides information to patients and employees by answering questions and requests.
Provides instrumentation by sterilizing and delivering instruments to treatment
area; positioning instruments for dentist's access; suctioning; passing instruments.
Provides materials by selecting, mixing, and placing materials on instruments
and in the patient's mouth. Provides diagnostic information by exposing and
developing radiographic studies; pouring, trimming, and polishing study casts.

Education:
There are no
formal education requirements for entering a career in dental assisting. Some
assistants have a high school diploma and only receive on-the-job training;
however, postsecondary pprograms offer more comprehensive career
training. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, there were more
than 285 dental assisting education programs approved by the Commission on
Dental Accreditation (CODA) in 201. Other kind of requirements for the assistant
h licensed dentists before, during and after dental work. They prepare patients
for procedures, record medical histories, take x-rays and prepare dental equipment.
Becoming a dental assistant entails some form of training and, in many states,
licensure and national certification.

important career in the study of the medicine , the assistant is a like the
right hand of the dentist he or her help in all the steps to care and attendant
the people that feel sick or have a problems with their teeth , I will be a
good assistant
