Some duties for the oncologist
is that he must be fully trained in the
various types of cancer and the best treatment for each. He may also specialize
in and treat only a specific type of cancer. An oncologist
is trained to know exactly what to look for regarding the symptoms of cancer.
She will know which tests must be conducted in order to make an accurate
diagnosis. She will then be able to advise the best treatment for each type of
cancer. They care for patients through the entire course of cancer treatment
from diagnosis to recovery or death.

Education:
Oncologist
must earn a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, then
the next step is applying for and completing four years of medical school .The requisites in medical
schools are stringent and candidates may be required to sit for a test and get
good scores before they are accepted. Additional exams may also be administered
before a student can start their residency. The specialization may take up
to 5 additional years of training. This preparation enables the specialists to
have a better understanding of how different treatment options work for each
type of cancer.
I thin i can't be an oncologist because is really sad to said an other person that have cancer and is to hard to see their reactions.
